Grace, the unmerited favor of God. We all need grace. We need grace for Salvation because we are not righteous on our own. We also need grace for daily living because we live in a fallen, broken world. But how do we get this much needed grace? Is there a time when God doesn’t give us grace? And does God ever get tired of me coming to Him and asking for grace? This series will answer these questions and more!
Session I : JONAH WAS RIGHT
While Jonah is mostly known for running from God when called to go to Nineveh, his perspective on God’s character and heart for people was right on. It is important that we also see God as Jonah did.
Session II : BROKEN
Only in Christianity do you find a God who makes the first move, reaching out to mankind while they are still lost. God’s heart is for all to be saved! He gives grace to the humble. Have you accepted God’s gift of grace?
Session III : NO BRAGGING HERE
We are not righteous because of what we do, but because of what Jesus has done for us. Right performance does not earn righteousness. Righteousness changes our performance. We are only able to DO right once we ARE right with God.
Session IV : A STANDING INVITATION
Grace isn’t just for salvation, but also our daily walk with God. We have an invitation to come boldly to the throne of grace when we are in need. And our Savior, Jesus Christ, understands what we are struggling with because He has been here and faced the same temptations.
