Have you ever wished you could experience the signs and wonders Jesus talked about in Mark 16? Have you ever wished you knew what daily walking in the Spirit actually looks like? If you have asked any of the above questions, this series is for you.
Session I : TRY THE SPIRITS
When someone claims to have heard from the Holy Spirit, how do you know if it is true? While you don’t want to doubt what the Spirit is saying and doing, you also don’t want to be deceived by a false spirit, which is very prevalent in the church today. When you try the spirits, as 1 John 4 says, you find 3 tests that clearly reveal when the Holy Spirit is truly speaking and moving.
Session II : THE SPIRIT OF THIS WORLD
Scripture says that in the last days deception will come from within the church. Statements like “Just follow Jesus” and “The Spirit told me to…” may sound good and right, but a look at the spirit of this world reveals the anti-God spirit cloaked within many such statements and lifestyles.
Session III : SIGNS AND WONDERS
The Bible is full of stories where God did signs and wonders, both in the Old and New Testaments. Jesus said in Mark 16 that signs will follow the preaching of the Gospel. So where are these signs and wonders today? When are they to happen, and for what purpose? Or are we past the times of signs and wonders? This session will answer all the above questions, as well as call you to a much needed action in our world today.
Session IV : WALKING IN THE SPIRIT
Freedom in Christ and walking in the Spirit will lead a Christian to four regular practices that will make God’s Name known to the lost and build up the local body of Christ. The ability to discern between truly walking in the Spirit versus walking in the flesh are of utmost importance for Believers today.
